Delhi’s reputed management institute Millennium School of Business inaugurated their BBA batch on 14th August 2013. The fresh batch of BBA students’, infused with liveliness were greeted by academia and industry professionals who gave them a head start for their path making three years at the college.
The senior BBA batch took the onus of managing the entire event for a warm welcome of their juniors. The day commenced with Sarawati Vandana and lamp lighting by the guests and went ahead when the faculty and guests narrated stories and involved the students though various management games and activities.
The ceremony featured a keynote address by Mr Mehmood Khan, a veteran and an award winning social worker. He is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad . who has 36years in various positions including 27 year in Unilever in various International Positions with postings in India, The Netherlands, Singapore and United Kingdom. He Retired as Global Leader of Innovation Process from Unilever London in 2009. He is also the Managing Trustee of Rasuli Kanwar Khan Trust NaiNangla, which is transforming lives in rural Mewat.
Mr Khan’s motivational words left a deep impact in the minds of the students while he mentioned, “ I can see our country as the No.1 economy in the next 30 years and you are the one’s who would make it happen”.
The 2nd guest of honor Mr Anuj Taneja, Deputy Vice President & Regional Head (North 1 & East India) at HDFC Bank is Currently responsible for conceiving and implementing Human Resource interventions for 5500 employees spread over part of North India & East India through a team of HR Managers. Narrating his own story which depicted his determination and willpower, he was able to impress and motivate the audience.
The MSOB 3 year BBA course has been designed to empower the students through quality education focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship and benchmarked management techniques.
