What is your Ambition in life ?

Are we there yet? Is the question we ask ourselves? Life is a journey and as we know it is a continuous process till we reach the undetermined destination, death. Ambition is a determined destination in the journey of life. So to complete our life, we have to fulfill our ambition. For example, in racing, the racers drive their cars and their passion, to reach the target or determined destination. They urge themselves to attain their goal and to achieve their desire, appropriately called as ambition.

Similarly, everyone has his or her own ambition to achieve and a dream to fulfill in life. In spite of the forces from outside, we need something to drive us from inside. We should have the thirst to achieve or to succeed and we should find a way to quench our thirst as well…..!!

After all ambition differs with each individual’s perception. Someone calls it a part of life, whereas for others it is the entire life. While one tries hard, the other makes it simple. This is what the successful persons say Ambition is the strong desire packed with the ability to achieve it.

Hence, the desire to achieve something is accompanied by valiant dreams. There are no limits to dream. Still the way we dream means a lot. Here we see some of the inspirational quotes by famous personalities.

“All people dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their mind, wake in the morning to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous people, For they dream their dreams with eyes open, And make them come true.”D.H. Lawrence, an English poet and novelist.

Dream of what you want to be. It may keep growing over a period of time and become an ambition. It might either build up or totally change in to a new one. Ambition will become stronger over a period of time. “At the age of six I wanted to be a cook. At seven I wanted to be Napoleon, and my ambition has been growing steadily ever since.”Salvador Dali, a Spanish painter, who also said, “Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings.”

Seed the plant of ambition in you. Water them with your efforts, regularly. Manage its growth over a period of time. In turn it'll fetch you the fruit called Success. Instead, idle dreaming won't help in any way. It is better to try something and fail, rather than try nothing. The people who did something, in spite of their failures, made a history of their own. And here are the few of them.

“In any situation, the best thing you can do is the right thing; the next best thing you can do is the wrong thing; the worst thing you can do is nothing.” - Theodore Roosevelt, 26th United States president.

“Take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly, and try another. But by all means, try something.” - Franklin D. Roosevelt, 32nd United States president.

It is said that ‘Failure is the stepping stone to success’ which means try something and after every failure you will learn something. But it is also said that ‘Bricks are necessary to build a wall’ which means before you fail, you have to try something, efforts are necessary to build up our ambition.

Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great people make you feel that you too can become great. We should be the master of our own ideas and let the ambition do the rest.

So, after all, it’s your time to have a worthy Ambition and to make a history. Now fasten your seatbelts and get your jet packs on. Be more Ambitious and far more Precious…!! Good Luck…!!
