The 23rd August 2014 marked a red letter day, as we at Millennium School of Business (MSOB), held our orientation day launching of our new vibrant batches of BBA(3rd) and MBA(5th). Our new BBA batch is a batch of 60 brilliant students with many of them having scored over 85% in their 12th Std.
The orientation program was graced by some of the most experienced leaders from the corporate sector, among whom we had Mr Pravin Kumar Arora, General Manager, NeoKraft Global Pvt Ltd. who has twenty five years of experience in the manufacturing sector of the automobile industry. His message to students was to master quality tools like six sigma, i.e. zero defect manufacturing, and to apply these tools not only in manufacturing sector, but also in real life as a student, employee, and as a person. Another guest of honour was Mr. Sandeep Kapoor, Founder and President, CEO, RelioQuick , who gave the new students a recipe of success with ingredients like importance of appreciation and time management, need to be self-critical instead of criticizing others, and the significance of being proactive as being essential to becoming successful. We also had an eminent academician, Dr C S Sharma, Director, MAIMS, who gave the young aspiring students the mantra “Give more than what you receive” as being the essence behind all great work of the world.
The entire orientation program was facilitated by the senior students with some excellent piece of anchoring by Surbhi Gaba and Vanya Khare, both students of MBA 3rd semester and had some sublime bit of mantra-recitation and song rendition by Deepak Panwar, another student from MBA 3rd semester, accompanied by Ashi Sharma, a student of BBA 5th semester, on guitar. The programme was a great start for the new comers as there was a fruitful interaction between the newcomers, senior students, and the faculty of our college post session.
